CAPS II: Design Concepts for Livable Homes & Aging in Place  

Continue your path toward earning the Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation with CAPS II, held on Wednesday, January 20, 2027, at the HBA|GBR office.

Taught in person by LSU professor and HBA|GBR member Stephanie Heumann, CAPS II focuses on the design concepts and solutions that make homes safer, more comfortable and more functional for people of all ages and abilities. Participants will explore how thoughtful design can help clients remain independent in their homes while creating spaces that are both attractive and livable.
